DBB Dual Expanding Plug Valves
Common valve designs, such as most DB&B Gate and DB&B Ball valves, depend on line pressure or springs to ensure sealing and cannot guarantee long term DB&B service as the sealing mechanisms are subject to friction and tearing and therefore wear. Elements can cause product loss and contamination.
Dual Expanding (DBB) Plug Valves eliminate the long-term sealing problems experienced with valves such as DBB Gate and DBB Ball valves with a single valve, so these valves offer very important contributions such as very long and easy use, very low maintenance costs, zero product loss, respect for the environment,,, The most important feature of these valves is that they guarantee tightness for a very long time, not only during the test phase.

No Friction
DBB-Dual Expanding Plug Valves have a rising stem and a cam and pin rotary plug design that provides frictionless opening and closing at low operating torques.
Double Block & Bleed
Dual Expanding Plug Valves also have DBB function, which means not only easier operation but also lower maintenance cost and space saving.
Ease of Maintenance and Service
DBB-Dual Expanding Plug Valves have top and bottom entry.If parts need to be replaced, they are easily accessed by removing the bottom cover without using any special tools. The valve must be in the open position to remove it.
Back Bed
Thanks to the back seat in the valves, the stem packing can be easily adjusted and replaced even when the line is under pressure.
Particle Non-Accumulating design
The Trunnion is not part of the Plug, but is incorporated into the bottom cover, thus eliminating a body cavity where particle accumulation can interfere with valve function.

2nd rotation
.Plug (red) is rotating. There is no contact between the body and the slides during rotation. |

3.Expansion
Plug / plugs rotated 90°, plug starts to expand the plugs. The belts only move perpendicular to the body sites. The plug/slide assembly is held centered in the body by upper and lower bushings. |

4. DBB
The valve is seated.
The flexible seals are compressed. The flexible seals are not damaged by excessive torque of the operator. The double blocking and unloading function can be tested by opening the unloading valve. |

5. Starting to Open The valve starts to open. The plug moves upwards, pulling the slides back from the body slots. The plug is held centered in the body by the upper and lower bushings.
